A Project Aiming to Live for 100 Years Hands Over Its Exam to the Community
NeoSoul's Believe plan ties the unlocking of team tokens to KPIs, which are collaboratively set by the community.
"I have a dream that may seem unrealistic. In crypto, this would definitely be laughed at. But after much thought, I decided to say it: I want NeoSoul to live for 100 years."
This is the opening of NeoSoul's Believe plan released on October 16. On the same day, its token DNA completed its TGE and was listed on exchanges like Binance Alpha and OKX.
How can a century-long dream convince people? One of the answers given by NeoSoul is to let the community verify the team's rewards.
Team Tokens to Be Unlocked Based on Performance
According to the Believe plan, the lock-up period for team tokens remains unchanged, with linear unlocking canceled and replaced by a link to KPIs (Key Performance Indicators): the amount unlocked each period will not exceed the upper limit of the original linear plan; if the current KPI is not met, there will be no unlocking for that period.
In most projects, the team receives tokens based on the calendar. Here, it depends on performance.
What to Test is Determined by the Community
More importantly, the KPIs are not solely determined by the team. The plan states: "KPIs are collaboratively set by the community." NeoSoul invites KOLs and the community to propose KPI suggestions for the team's unlocking, and accepted suggestions will receive DNA rewards.
This changes the role of the community: holders are no longer just bystanders waiting for the team to deliver but are now the question-setters defining "what constitutes delivery."
What Kind of KPIs Are Meaningful
A good KPI should be easily understandable, indicating what is being tested, why it is being tested, and how to judge whether it meets the standards (this is the author's view, not a stipulation of the plan). The Believe plan itself has already provided many directions for assessment: NeoTrade will only support DNA payments; internal settlements and employee salaries will prioritize DNA; the Agent Developer Program is about to launch; community incentives will gradually tilt towards DNA holders and continuous contributors. These are all commitments the team has publicly made.

Question-Setters Are Also Companions
The team is not just handing over the right to set questions. Daily internal settlements, part of employee salaries, and external collaborations will prioritize the use of DNA, which will be purchased from the secondary market without a lock-up period. The existing unlocking mechanism for shareholders remains unchanged, and shareholders who voluntarily extend their lock-up period will receive token rewards.
The plan includes a statement: "One person's dream is ultimately limited; the belief of a group can make a dream transcend time." Setting a question for the team may be the first step in participating in this century-long dream.
