Aave V4 Total Deposits Exceed $600 Million
Total deposits on Aave V4 have surpassed $600 million, reaching an all-time high. This increase indicates that new capital is still entering the crypto-based lending market, while also showing a growing institutional interest in decentralized finance infrastructure. The growth has been influenced by demand for stablecoins and increasing interest in tokenized treasury products. The shift of traditional funds towards on-chain products has supported the liquidity entering Aave V4. The nearing completion of the audit process and the implementation of new cross-chain features have raised expectations that the platform could attract more funds this year. According to DefiLlama data, the total of $600 million includes deposits on the Ethereum mainnet and second-layer deployments. In the growth observed throughout the quarter, the higher yields of stablecoins compared to traditional deposit products and users transitioning from V3 to V4 to access combined liquidity and risk modules have played a significant role. Borrowing demand also increased during the same period. Notably, the rise in usage rates for USDC, USDT, and GHO indicates a speeding up of lending activities on the platform. The deeper liquidity and more detailed risk control offered by Aave V4 have made the platform more attractive for investors and funds managing treasury operations. Aave is known as one of the largest lending protocols on Ethereum.
