AI Entity Operation Platform Motive Completes $1.3 Billion Financing, Abandons NYSE Listing Plan
AI entity operation platform Motive has completed a $1.3 billion financing round, with General Catalyst participating through the Customer Value Fund, although specific valuation data has not been disclosed. Motive has withdrawn its previously submitted S-1 registration statement and abandoned its plan to list on the New York Stock Exchange. The company originally intended to go public under the ticker symbol MTVE and had arranged for Morgan Stanley, Citigroup, Barclays, and Jefferies to serve as underwriters. Motive had previously completed a $150 million financing round led by Kleiner Perkins in July 2025, bringing its total funding to over $700 million.
