ByteDance Doubao Stock Price Raised to $17.02, Up 30.1% in Four Months
ByteDance recently held a briefing on Doubao stock, raising the stock price from $14.85 in June to $17.02, an increase of 14.6%. Some employees can adjust their compensation structure by converting cash in their total package into Doubao stock, with the conversion amount varying by individual. Some L2 and L3 employees have a full allocation ratio of 20%, while some L3 and L4 employees can reach 25% or 30%. ByteDance has also increased the issuance of Doubao stock, with some employees receiving an additional allocation of up to 5% of their total package. This policy mainly involves large model teams such as Seed's pre-training, multimodal, and VLM, as well as the Doubao main app of Flow. Some teams deeply integrated with Seed and Doubao's underlying platform, such as the Ark team, may also receive Doubao stock. Doubao stock is an internal virtual stock incentive designed by ByteDance for its AI business, with the first repurchase price in April being $13.08, rising to $14.85 in June. In May, some Seed employees were already able to choose to convert their year-end bonuses into Doubao stock. Currently, Doubao stock has accumulated a 30.1% increase, while ByteDance Group's options have only risen by about 2.6%.
