DeepSeek and MiniMax Complete Registration and Open Source Authorization
On October 16, the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Science and Technology publicly solicited opinions on the revision of the "Catalog of Technologies Prohibited from Exporting and Restricted from Exporting in China," involving 23 artificial intelligence technologies, including large models and intelligent agents. Following the announcement of the policy, both DeepSeek and MiniMax have successfully completed their registration procedures and have obtained open-source and overseas authorization for use. In response to inquiries, the Ministry of Commerce emphasized that the policy aims to delineate boundaries rather than simply restrict the export of AI technologies.
