Hoskinson Evaluates the Progress of Artificial Intelligence in Mathematics
The founder of Cardano, Charles Hoskinson, stated that the expectations for the advancement of artificial intelligence in higher mathematics have far exceeded what was anticipated. He particularly emphasized the remarkable capacity for generating and verifying complex mathematical proofs. In a broadcast on YouTube, Hoskinson evaluated a Navier-Stokes approach purportedly developed by artificial intelligence. This problem is among the most recognized unsolved issues in mathematics. Hoskinson expressed that the idea of artificial intelligence being able to write a complete proof once seemed distant, but large language models have made an unexpected leap in this area. He noted that this development could signify a profound change in the way mathematical work is conducted. Additionally, he highlighted the effects of artificial intelligence systems on academic production and data privacy, stressing that researchers working with cloud-based models might lose control over their ideas and work records. Hoskinson stated that artificial intelligence can develop existing ideas to achieve more advanced results, bringing its position in scientific production back into discussion. He also reminded that due to the importance of the Navier-Stokes problem in fluid dynamics and engineering, the validation of this claim could have significant implications across the broader fields of science and technology.

Apple Foldable Event Nears | WEEX TradFi Daily(September 9, 2026)
Global markets are focused on Apple’s fall product event, firmer energy prices, and the renewed valuation pressure on risk assets. Apple shares retreated ahead of the launch as investors weighed foldable-device pricing, on-device AI monetization, and potential sell-the-news volatility. Energy equities benefited from supply-risk repricing, which also reinforced sticky-inflation concerns and a higher-for-longer rates narrative. In crypto, bitcoin eased toward the mid-$78,000 range; although spot ETF inflows remain supportive, positioning has turned more defensive in the face of rising hike expectations. After the close, AeroVironment earnings and Apple’s product details could shape the next move across tech and thematic trades.
