JUST burns 1.88 billion JST, 19% of total supply
DeFi protocol JUST reported the cumulative repurchase and burn of approximately 1,881,973,007 JST, representing 19.01% of the initial maximum supply. A total of 118.15 million dollars has been allocated for JST repurchases and burns, utilizing all historical profit reserves from JustLend. In October, JUST DAO upgraded the JST repurchase-and-burn mechanism and plans to transition future repurchases to a model supported by sustainable ecosystem revenue. Starting in Q4 2026, the protocol intends to deploy around 20.34 million dollars in excess funds for repurchases across four rounds, while ensuring a minimum treasury safety reserve of 50 million dollars. JustLend's total value locked remained above 7 billion dollars at the end of the quarter, and GasFree recorded approximately 21.24 million transactions in Q3.
