KPMG: Venture Capital Investments in Brazil Rise 16% in Q2
Venture capital financing in Brazil increased from $335.9 million in Q1 to $391.6 million in Q2, marking a 16% rise. The KPMG study "Venture Pulse -- Q2 2026" reveals that investment remained stable, highlighting the AI litigation platform Enter, which became Latin America's first AI unicorn. Artificial intelligence is seen as a promising area for investments in Brazil, given the belief that local startups can outperform large global language models. Lino Júnior, KPMG's private capital leader in Brazil, stated that venture capital is advancing selectively, with investors seeking business models with operational efficiency and a clear path to liquidity. On a global scale, venture capital investment totaled $227.4 billion across 8,440 deals, with the Americas accounting for $150 billion in 3,999 transactions.
