KR1 Launches Ethereum Validator, Plans to Stake Up to 6,000 ETH
London Stock Exchange-listed company KR1 plc has launched its own Ethereum validator, operated by P2P.org within Lido V3's stVaults. KR1 plans to stake up to 6,000 ETH, with an initial rollout of 10 validators, depending on the Ethereum validator admission queue. KR1 retains control over withdrawal, validator fee arrangements, and treasury role permissions, and may choose to mint stETH for liquidity. Lido states that stVaults address the trade-off between native staking and liquid staking, allowing stakers to choose validators while retaining ownership, and maintaining liquidity through stETH. Lido disclosed that the stVaults smart contracts have been audited by multiple institutions and offer a bug bounty of up to $2 million.
