Megapot Closes Official App on December 1, Shifts to Lottery Business

The on-chain lottery protocol Megapot announced that it will close its official website and Telegram Mini App on December 1, while the protocol itself will continue to operate. As of October 29, Megapot has stopped selling lottery tickets and ended its liquidity support program, registration rewards, referral rewards, and guaranteed prize activities. Users can still claim previously earned prizes and withdraw their account balances. Megapot stated that this adjustment comes from its discovery that most of the protocol's transaction volume originates from other applications that use lottery tickets as rewards for users completing deposits, transactions, and invitations. The team has decided to shift its business focus to Prizerail, a sweepstakes platform that provides user growth and reward services for consumer applications.
