o1 Launchpad Implements New Contract, Eliminates Insider Distribution
o1.exchange has applied a new contract for the o1 Launchpad and eliminated the insider distribution structure. This move is interpreted as an effort to address community concerns regarding liquidity by adjusting the developer minting and purchasing methods. Jerry Fan, the founder of o1.exchange, announced on the 30th via X that the new contract has been deployed to the o1 Launchpad production. Fan explained that the new contract removes insider distribution and allows developers to mint and purchase tokens in a manner similar to pump funds. The key aspect is the symmetry of liquidity, with Fan stating that the minting and purchasing structure for developers maintains liquidity balance, allowing for sales at any time after purchase. This update addresses community issues and concerns, and the o1 Launchpad contract documents have also been updated. The contract changes adjust the insider distribution and the initial participation methods for developers, suggesting that the project has modified its issuance structure in response to liquidity imbalance controversies raised during the token issuance phase. Fan claims that the o1 Launchpad currently holds an 80% market share in the base launchpad sector, based on figures presented by the project founders on a dashboard. The actual trading volume, issuance sustainability, and impact on user distribution require further verification.
