Raw Materials Increase by 412 Billion Won, RWA Decrease by 291.5 Billion Won
The market capitalization of tokenized raw materials increased by $297.5 million (approximately 412 billion won), while the overall tokenized real asset (RWA) market decreased by $210.5 million (approximately 291.5 billion won). During the same period, tokenized stocks rose by $166.2 million (approximately 230.2 billion won), but tokenized funds fell by $674.2 million (approximately 933.8 billion won). As a result, the RWA market showed an overall declining trend. Token Terminal classifies tokenized assets into stablecoins, tokenized funds, tokenized raw materials, and tokenized stocks. Even if the market capitalization of gold and commodity-based tokens increases, if the decrease in fund capital is greater, the overall RWA market will shrink. Currently, the focus of tokenized raw materials is on gold, with a market capitalization reaching $6.1 billion (approximately 8.45 trillion won) as of February data. The industry is expanding RWA infrastructure and tokenized stock products, and OKX announced the listing of integrated tokenized stock spot trading. Circle is set to launch Arc on September 16, which will support tokenized real assets. While it is difficult to definitively conclude the trend of the entire RWA market based on just this week's data, it has been confirmed that raw materials and stocks have increased while funds have decreased.
