Ripple Moves $39.4 Million in RLUSD Treasury Accounts
Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin has seen a movement of $39.4 million in minting and burning transactions between the XRP Ledger and Ethereum networks in recent days. As of September 11, RLUSD's market capitalization stands at approximately $2.4 billion. A total of 14,394,224 RLUSD was minted on the XRP Ledger, while 10 million RLUSD was burned on the XRPL side, and an additional 15 million RLUSD was issued on the Ethereum network. These transactions indicate that treasury operations are conducted for various purposes such as issuance, redemption, and liquidity management. Approximately $1.38 billion in RLUSD is present on the Ethereum network, while the amount on the XRPL is calculated at $1.03 billion. The difference between the two networks has reached about $350 million. Ripple has published new guidance for RLUSD aimed at the institutional finance sector, emphasizing the regulatory framework for the stablecoin. RLUSD is backed one-to-one by cash and cash-equivalent assets, and institutional clients can perform minting and redemption transactions through Ripple Mint. In August, approximately 449.3 million RLUSD was minted on the XRPL over a 30-day period, while 448.9 million RLUSD was burned, indicating a rapid turnover rate.
