Robinhood Chain's DEX Volume Reaches Record Approximately 140 Billion Yen in One Day
On August 30, the DEX (decentralized exchange) volume of Robinhood Chain reached $875 million (approximately 140 billion yen at an exchange rate of 160 yen per dollar), marking the highest daily volume recorded to date. According to data from Wu Blockchain's data center, the number of transactions on the same day also reached 5.52 million, setting a new record as well.
Robinhood Chain, a Layer 2 solution developed by the U.S. company Robinhood, just began operations on July 1. The rapid expansion of trading in tokenized stocks has led to a significant increase in volume within just two months of its launch.
The breakdown of the volume shows that Uniswap's v4 accounted for $432 million (approximately 69.1 billion yen), while v3 accounted for $357 million (approximately 57.1 billion yen), together making up over 90% of the total. The older version, v3, continues to attract a steady amount of trading.
On the same day, the token issuance platform Pons issued 22,600 new tokens, reaching a volume of $187 million (approximately 29.9 billion yen), which also represents a record achievement on the Robinhood Chain.
Data from Token Terminal indicates that the top seven tokenized stocks generated a DEX volume of $4.3 billion (approximately 688 billion yen) over the past 30 days. The expansion of tokenized stocks is driving up trading demand across the entire DeFi (decentralized finance) sector.
Robinhood Chain is a Layer 2 solution launched by the major U.S. online brokerage Robinhood in July 2026, utilizing the technology base of Arbitrum to create an EVM-compatible chain.
It is characterized by the ability to trade tokenized U.S. and international stocks on-chain, positioning itself as a means to gain stock exposure without going through existing brokerage accounts.
