Sam Price Analyzes Bitcoin ETF Inflows and Market Trends
According to Twitter user Sam Price, the U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF absorbed approximately $987 million in funds in the week ending September 4, marking three consecutive weeks of inflows. In August, the Bitcoin ETF attracted around $3.52 billion, the strongest month since September 2025. Meanwhile, global investors poured $46.1 billion into money market funds last week, driven by rising oil prices, geopolitical risks, and increasing bond yields prompting traditional portfolios to seek safety. U.S. equity funds saw outflows of about $11.1 billion last week, while money market funds attracted nearly $49 billion. Although rising yields and tightening financial conditions typically reduce Bitcoin's appeal, regulated Bitcoin products continue to attract capital. Demand for ETFs of Ethereum, Solana, and XRP has noticeably slowed compared to the previous week. Sam Price emphasizes that while it is important to watch if Bitcoin breaks the $80,000 mark, it is equally crucial to monitor whether ETF inflows continue as traditional investors remain defensive.
