Schwab Launches Schwab Crypto, Adding 3 New Crypto Assets by Year-End

Rick Wurster, CEO of Charles Schwab, announced at the fall business update that all clients can now access Schwab Crypto. Schwab is gradually rolling out the feature for transferring crypto assets and plans to add three new crypto assets by the end of the year. Wurster stated that new businesses such as cryptocurrencies and prediction markets will provide Schwab with new sources of trading revenue. Schwab Crypto was launched in May 2026 in early access mode, supporting spot trading of BTC and ETH, and announced in August plans to add SOL, AVAX, and LINK.
