Sony Launches Global Onchain Entertainment Incubation Program to Support Soneium-Based Projects
Sony Group launched the global "Sony Onchain Entertainment Incubation Program" on October 29, aimed at supporting creators and startups worldwide in developing entertainment-related products and services based on the Soneium blockchain. Selected projects will receive support in Soneium's technological infrastructure, collaboration opportunities with Sony Group companies, as well as assistance in business expansion, marketing, community operations, and financing. Since 2024, Sony has selected and supported 43 projects through its previous two incubation programs. The new program will focus on the onchain entertainment sector, promoting related projects from technical validation to commercial application. The application period is from October to December 2026, with project selection expected to continue until March 2027. Applicants must have launched or plan to launch on Soneium, with evaluation criteria including originality of entertainment experience, intellectual property application, community building, business expansion capability, and market competition.
