Tether Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Nairobi Securities Exchange to Explore Digital Asset Education
Tether has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Nairobi Securities Exchange in Kenya to explore digital asset education, tokenization, and financial market innovation. The memorandum supports the development and implementation of blockchain-based securities market infrastructure at the Nairobi Securities Exchange, utilizing distributed ledger technology for the tokenization of securities and instant settlement. Through the Hadron platform, Tether will provide fragmented trading channels for local and overseas investors. Additionally, Tether and the NSE will design and pilot a secure registration process that complies with Kenya's regulatory environment to streamline anti-money laundering and KYC processes.
