Renowned Bitcoin proponent Davinci Jeremie has shared a bold prediction regarding XRP’s potential price performance in 2025. Speaking in a recent YouTube Short, Jeremie suggested that XRP could climb to $24 within the year, representing a significant jump of approximately 972% from its current trading price of $2.21.If XRP were to achieve this target, its total market capitalization would rise dramatically from $131.35 billion to roughly $1.4 trillion. This projection assumes the token’s circulating supply stays fixed at around 58.44 billion coins.U.S. Government Engagement Cited as Key DriverJeremie attributed his outlook to increasing signals of support for XRP from officials in the United States. According to him, federal-level recognition and regulatory developments could play a critical role in influencing the asset’s future price. One example he referenced is the mention of XRP in discussions surrounding a potential U.S. cryptocurrency reserve. Additionally, Jeremie noted the ongoing negotiations between Ripple Labs and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to bring an end to their longstanding legal dispute. These factors, he argued, could enhance investor confidence and strengthen XRP’s position in the digital asset space.Jeremie Reaffirms Bitcoin LoyaltyAlthough Jeremie outlined a scenario in which XRP reaches $24, he was careful to clarify that he does not recommend holding the asset. He emphasized his continued preference for Bitcoin, urging investors to consider shifting any XRP holdings into BTC.Jeremie has previously referred to XRP as a “banker coin” due to its adoption by financial institutions for cross-border payment solutions. He remains critical of XRP’s alignment with traditional banking systems, arguing that supporting such a project could contradict the decentralized ideals of cryptocurrency. In his view, Bitcoin remains a superior option for those seeking an asset independent of traditional financial infrastructure. We are on twitter, follow us to connect with us :- @TimesTabloid1— TimesTabloid (@TimesTabloid1) July 15, 2023While optimistic about XRP’s possible rise, Jeremie cautioned viewers not to interpret the forecast as a certainty. He described the $24 price point as a strong possibility rather than a guaranteed outcome and encouraged investors to manage their exposure to XRP with caution.Jeremie’s estimate aligns with earlier projections from other crypto commentators. Popular analyst EGRAG has also forecasted that XRP could surpass $24, even suggesting the potential for much higher targets such as $110. However, EGRAG did not provide a specific timeline for this scenario.Meanwhile, crypto platform Changelly offered a more conservative timeframe, suggesting XRP could reach $24 by February 2031, six years later than Jeremie’s forecast. Their analysis reflects a broader market sentiment that, while bullish on XRP’s long-term value, remains cautious about near-term explosive growth.Disclaimer: This content is meant to inform and should not be considered financial advice.
