The UAE has secured the second position in the global cryptocurrency ranking, rising from fifth place in the assessment of attractive jurisdictions for crypto investors. In the ranking by consulting firm Henley & Partners, Singapore takes the first spot, followed by Hong Kong in third, the USA in fourth, and Switzerland in fifth. The Emirates received a score of 10 out of 10 for investment attractiveness, thanks to the absence of taxes on cryptocurrency trading, staking, and mining. The ranking covers 36 countries and considers over 900 parameters, including regulation and tax policy. Bahrain has entered the ranking for the first time, taking the 13th position. It is estimated that by August 31, 2026, the global cryptocurrency market capitalization will reach $2.6 trillion, of which $1.6 trillion will be Bitcoin. There are 135,000 crypto millionaires and 23 billionaires worldwide. Dubai has become a notable hub for crypto investors due to the establishment of a regulatory framework for virtual assets through VARA and a high level of business infrastructure. The UAE also ranked first in the capital mobility index with a score of 85.3.
