XPOLAR C1: Smart Cushion Regulates Temperature and Posture
The XPOLAR C1 is a smart cushion designed to enhance comfort while working from home. This device is placed on the chair and combines thermal adjustment with posture tracking. It incorporates sensors that identify the distribution of body weight and record changes in posture, allowing the user to understand their sitting habits and adjust their position for greater comfort. Additionally, it features a system that modifies the temperature in the contact area, cooling down to 18 °C and heating up to 45 °C. The design allows it to be used on any chair without the need for modifications. It includes an app to control its functions and consult usage information, connecting wirelessly to other devices. Its dimensions are 45 cm wide, 43 cm deep, and 8 cm high, with a weight of 1.4 kg. It operates with a USB-C connection and requires external power. Its initial price is $199 for the first units, and its launch is expected soon.
