XRP Ledger Network Activity Drops to Yearly Lows

The network activity on the XRP Ledger has experienced a significant decline. The number of daily active addresses has fallen to 25,350, and the number of new wallets has decreased to 2,130, marking the lowest values seen since November 2024. Despite the drop in network usage, the price of XRP has remained stable just below $1.10. This stability at this level indicates that investors are inclined to hold onto their assets. However, for a sustained recovery, there will need to be an increase in transaction demand and new user influx. In the upcoming period, the growth of RLUSD, tokenization initiatives, and the expansion of institutional payment usage may come to the forefront. The XRP Ledger is noted for its fast and low-cost transfer features as an open-source blockchain network connected to the Ripple ecosystem. Market analyst Dark Defender predicts that the correction phase in XRP may be nearing its end and notes that there is strong support in the range of $0.93 to $1.15. Maintaining stability within this band could increase the likelihood of a new upward phase beginning. However, the determining factor for XRP's medium and long-term trajectory will be whether the network can produce new use cases.
