Zondacrypto: 7000 Creditor Claims and Strange Wallet Movements
The Estonian trustee Margus Lentsius confirmed that on October 27, he received 7000 messages regarding the bankruptcy of Zondacrypto. It is unclear how many of these messages are duplicates or general inquiries. On October 22, Damian Przybyłowski, the chairman of the creditors' committee, pointed to around 5000 claims amounting to €40 million. The prosecutor's office secured assets worth approximately 125 million PLN, but some of these assets do not come from profits obtained at the expense of Zondacrypto's clients. The deadline for filing claims passed on October 27, and the exact number of affected parties and the total amount of claims will be known in a few weeks. In the meantime, movements have been recorded on the wallet associated with Zondacrypto, including 8000 XRP that were transferred to a wallet linked to the KuCoin exchange. The value of these tokens is approximately 41,000 PLN. Previously, after the suspension of withdrawals, 1000 XRP and 20000 XRP were withdrawn from the same wallet, totaling around 105,000 PLN in value. The court prohibited the company associated with Zondacrypto from disposing of assets without the trustee's consent. Lentsius admitted that he lacks the funds to conduct the bankruptcy proceedings, which puts the situation in a curious light.
