Argentine Diego Sebastián Rosen Ferlini Accused of Murder and Fraud

Diego Sebastián Rosen Ferlini, a 51-year-old Argentine, is accused of murdering the keyboardist of Camilo Séptimo, Jonathan Meléndez, 38, as well as his pregnant wife, 35, their 3-year-old daughter, and their 21-year-old employee. Although he has been implicated in fraud, he was never arrested prior to the crime. Authorities are investigating whether the motive for the murder was a debt of approximately 300,000 pesos (16,000 dollars) or a dispute over cryptocurrency funds from a joint business venture. Rosen Ferlini, who identified himself on social media with the phrase 'The idea is to die young as late as possible', was arrested just hours after the crime without attempting to conceal his identity. Testimonies on social media indicate that several people have been scammed by him. In October 2025, he obtained a protection order against an arrest warrant for an undisclosed crime.
