Attack on Solana Trading Bot Steals 9408 SOL
The trading bot Bloom, operating on the Solana network, was attacked on October 26, 2026, resulting in the theft of 9408 solana (SOL), equivalent to $947,000. The losses affected 49 wallet addresses belonging to 9 users. Bloom reported that no private keys were compromised and that the unaffected wallets are secure. The investigation identified a third-party module with a remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability as the attack vector. The company will reimburse 100% of the stolen funds to secure wallets designated by the affected users. Additionally, they are working to trace the stolen funds and identify the attacker. Bloom is open to negotiations with the perpetrator of the incident and has gathered technical evidence, including IP addresses and data centers used in the attack. This incident adds to other vulnerabilities in the sector, such as the cyberattack on the Railway platform on October 21, 2026, which exposed database credentials.
