Bitcoin Has Not Reached a New High in Nearly a Year, Halving High Template Fails

By: x.com|2026/09/13 14:38:22

Bitcoin has not reached a new high in nearly a year, with approximately 342 days since its last peak. In previous cycles, halvings typically led to rapid new highs, but the pace has slowed this time. The next halving is expected in April 2028. Analysis shows that the interval from the previous peak to the next new high is shortening: it was 1,180 days from 2014 to 2017, 1,094 days from 2017 to 2020, and is projected to be 849 days from 2021 to 2024. Analysts infer that if this trend continues, despite not breaking the previous high currently, a new high may occur faster than in previous cycles, without having to wait until 2028.
