Bitcoin has experienced a bear market with a record drawdown of -52.5%, reaching $57,736. Previous drawdowns were -92.9% in 2011, -82.5% in 2015, -82.9% in 2018, and -75.5% in 2022. The current market dynamics are more positive, surpassing the rebound in May when Bitcoin exceeded $82,000. From the low point in 2022 to the peak in October 2025, Bitcoin's total market capitalization has increased by 742%, reaching double its record in 2021. The realized losses during this bear market amount to $191 billion, less than the $211 billion from the previous one. This situation is attributed to a change in market participants and increased conviction in Bitcoin, preventing a more intense drawdown.
