Investigation into Zondacrypto Accelerates, New Team at the National Prosecutor's Office

A new investigative team at the National Prosecutor's Office will begin work on the Zondacrypto case on October 1. Justice Minister Waldemar Żurek confirmed that the team will be led by prosecutor Marek Wełna, a specialist in organized crime. During the investigation, searches were conducted, and the prosecutor's office obtained new evidence. Żurek indicated that the case involves threads related to the disappearance of Zondacrypto's creator, Sylwester Suszek. Several individuals have been detained as part of the investigation, including Jaromir W. and Anna P., who are accused of participating in an organized criminal group. Rafał Z., a well-known trader, has been charged with embezzling 1.7 million zlotys. Former head of the Polish Olympic Committee, Radosław P., has been accused of favoring creditors, while Artur K. faces charges of unauthorized interference with exchange data and money laundering.
