Jason Calacanis predicts Bitcoin decline, advises shift to AI
Jason Calacanis predicts a challenging year for Bitcoin, stating that spot ETF net outflows will persist. He forecasts that Bitcoin will retest its low of 57000 dollars within the next year, emphasizing that Bitcoin offers little beyond being a store of value. Calacanis notes the decline of interest in Bitcoin, with fewer people, memes, and NFTs promoting its purchase. He argues that Bitcoin is no longer seen as a world-changing asset, a role he attributes to AI instead. Calacanis urges investors to sell Bitcoin and invest in AI, claiming that Bitcoin generates minimal value while AI presents unlimited potential. He predicts Bitcoin will not reach its all-time high again and questions its price performance in April and July. Calacanis is an early investor in Uber and Robinhood and has over 1.8 million followers on X.
