Keystone Reduces Logistics Data Retention Period to 90 Days
The hardware wallet brand Keystone has updated its progress on handling security incidents, reducing the logistics data retention period from 180 days to 90 days, effective immediately. Users can contact official customer service to request immediate deletion of data after their orders are delivered. Keystone has sent email notifications to all affected users, suspended all shipments, and isolated affected devices in all partner warehouses. The team is responding to user inquiries through the X platform and customer service tickets, and is continuously improving the security of the affected user query page. Keystone reminds users to be vigilant against phishing attacks, emphasizing that emails related to the incident will only be sent from official email addresses, and that the official team will never ask for recovery phrases via email, direct messages, or phone calls. Users are advised to remain cautious of messages requesting urgent actions. The team will announce further measures in the coming days and apologizes to affected users regarding this incident.
