Progress on UNCX Lockers Security Incident, Restrictive Measures Implemented Involving 10 Tokens
After encountering a security incident across multiple chains, UNCX Lockers has implemented containment measures, including setting a fixed fee of over 1000 ETH, removing interactions that could bypass fees, and increasing token fees to the maximum allowable 5% as per the contract. All LP lock-up contracts remain unaffected, and the incident is limited to Vesting V2. The attack involves 10 tokens across 4 chains, including pepecoin, EDGEN, ZC, X, LO0P, and PAAL on Ethereum; IMO on Base; BTCLE on BNB Chain; and CASHCAT and RKST on Robinhood Chain. The official team is in communication with most affected teams and will provide further guidance this week, along with a complete incident report and recovery plan, advising to avoid trading affected pools until guidance is provided by the relevant token teams. Currently, the attacker has not returned any funds, and the team is coordinating investigations with law enforcement and security companies.
