Rayls Extends RLS Token Vesting to Monthly Unlocking in May 2027
Rayls has announced that the vesting arrangement for RLS tokens has been extended for investors and the team. The relevant tokens will now be unlocked monthly over four years starting from May 2027, replacing the original unlocking plan set for December 2026. This move coincides with the lock-up extension announced by the core developer Parfin in August this year, and it is expected that the circulating supply of RLS will decrease by approximately 1.2 billion tokens by 2027, a reduction of about 25% from the original plan. Additionally, over 500 million RLS will still be locked as of December 2026. Rayls stated that the adjusted unlocking pace will be slower and smoother. The project is positioned as an on-chain infrastructure serving banks, with investors including ParaFi Capital, Framework, Valor Capital, and Alexia Ventures.
