Ripple Prime Launches RWA Perpetual Swaps, Pricing Referenced to Hyperliquid Contracts
Ripple Prime has launched perpetual swaps for real-world assets (RWA), offering continuous trading for institutional clients across over 100 reference markets, including individual stocks, stock indices, ETFs, metals, energy, and foreign exchange. The product is executed by Ripple Prime as the counterparty, with pricing referenced to perpetual contracts listed on the decentralized derivatives platform Hyperliquid via Trade.xyz, without involving ownership of the underlying assets or physical delivery. Clients can cross-margin related positions with other assets on the platform, and eligible clients may use RLUSD as collateral. Market maker Virtu is one of the early users. This service is currently provided under relevant licenses from the British Virgin Islands, with plans to expand to more regions.
