Russian Attack Destroys Axis Wine Winery in Lviv
As a result of the Russian attack on Lviv on the night of July 30, the craft winery Axis Wine was completely destroyed. The company has lost its production facilities and has announced a fundraising campaign for recovery, although the extent of the damage has not yet been disclosed. The production capabilities were completely destroyed, and the final amount of losses is still being calculated. Axis Wine was founded by Dmitry Kopyi and Sergey Urbanovsky, with its first vintage released in 2017. In 2021, the company received a license as a small wine producer. Axis Wine specialized in crafting wines from European and local grape varieties, with a production capacity of up to 5,000 liters of wine per year. In 2025, the company's revenue amounted to 551,500 UAH, and its net profit last year was 14,300 UAH.
