Sam Price Observes Significant Drop in Asian Markets
According to Twitter user Sam Price, Asian markets experienced a significant drop overnight, with the Kospi index falling by 3.5%, the Hang Seng index down by 3.0%, and the Nikkei 225 index decreasing by 2.7%. Oil prices exceeded $110 per barrel, while new concerns regarding spending by major tech companies in the field of artificial intelligence have intensified market pressures. The chip industry has been hit the hardest. Sam Price pointed out that Asian markets are typically the first domino in the global market, and U.S. futures markets have also declined. In a context of simultaneous risk reduction across global markets, holding cash has become a strategy.
