Sui collaborates with OpenAssets on OTAS tokenized asset standard
Sui is collaborating with OpenAssets on the Open Tokenized Asset Standard (OTAS) under the Linux Foundation Decentralized Trust, aiming to expand its use within the Sui ecosystem. OTAS is an open-source standard that standardizes how tokenized assets express identity, compliance rules, and audit history, facilitating representation, verification, and settlement across various financial systems. The initiative aims to simplify the movement and trading of tokenized assets like securities, funds, and commodities between institutions and networks without requiring a specific blockchain or technology stack. The Sui Foundation is one of the initial sponsors of OTAS and participated from the design stage.
