- ZCAT rebounds above a $100 million market cap via a 3% tax that buys ZEC. Energy outperforms while memory chips give back gains.
- August CPI at 08:30 ET today will lock in pricing for the September 15–16 FOMC.
1、Crypto Market Highlights
1)Bitcoin Falls to $77,000 on Macro Transmission, Not an Internal Blow-Up

Bitcoin printed a low near $76,700–$77,000 and Ethereum slipped to about $2,440–$2,450. The 10-year yield rose to about 4.943% ahead of CPI, next week’s hike odds were priced near 71%, oil cleared $100, and gold and silver weakened together. This is the end-stage of simultaneous rate and liquidity tightening: spot ETFs saw about $167 million of net outflows over two days, perpetual longs were liquidated by about $270 million, and price broke a key psychological level.
Watchlist: BTC, ETH
Spot: BTC / ETH
Futures: BTC / ETH
2)ZCAT Rebounds Above $100 Million Market Cap as a 3% Tax Buys ZEC
ZCAT is a cat-themed Solana meme whose mechanism uses an about 3% trading tax to buy bridged ZEC and airdrop it to holders, creating a leveraged bet on ZEC. After Ansem called it twice on September 6, market cap jumped from $69 million to $119 million, up more than 350% in 24 hours. By September 9 it had distributed about 2,320 ZEC, roughly $2.75 million across more than 470,000 transfers. About $15.8 million of turnover against a $100 million market cap was well above the $10.9 million seen on September 6, pointing to new capital rather than a thin bounce. The “dividend tax” template may be copied by other memes.
Watchlist: ZCAT
Spot: ZCAT
3)Robinhood Meme Sector Under Pressure, With Selective Catch-Up
Under a macro liquidity drain, most Robinhood-theme memes fell, with wide dispersion inside the group. JUGGERNAUT, HOODRAT1, YOLO1 and WISHIBONE still attracted short-term flows, more a rotation than a fundamental repair. If CPI hardens hike pricing, high-turnover memes may retrace faster than majors.
Watchlist: JUGGERNAUT, HOODRAT1, YOLO1
Spot: JUGGERNAUT / HOODRAT1 / YOLO1
2、Market Highlights
1)Energy Relatively Resilient as Brent Holds Above $100

Brent rose to about $101–$107 and WTI also cleared $100, with restricted passage through the Strait of Hormuz lifting the supply premium. Energy was among the few green groups, while higher oil fed inflation expectations into CPI pricing. Near term, energy and rate-sensitive tech are moving in opposite directions.
Watchlist: XLE, CRUDEOIL
Spot: XLE / CRUDEOIL
Futures: XLE / CL / BZ
2)Oracle (ORCL) Jumps After Hours on Earnings
Oracle reported after the close on September 10 ET and shares strengthened after hours. The market read the print as evidence that cloud infrastructure and AI-related backlog can still offset substitution fears in software. Formal guidance and capex details will keep being priced after CPI.
Watchlist: ORCL
Spot: ORCL
Futures: ORCL
3)Memory Chips Give Back Gains; Micron Under Pressure
With oil and yields rising together, memory stocks that had strengthened the prior session gave back gains. Micron (MU) fell about 4%–5% as capital rotated from high-beta chips into energy and cash. If CPI prints hot, memory and leveraged names such as SOXL could see larger swings.
Watchlist: MU, SOXL
Spot: MU / SOXL
Futures: MU / SOXL
3、Today’s Preview
August CPI is released today and is the week’s macro high point. It will lock in pricing for the September 15–16 FOMC.
1)August CPI — 08:30 ET (20:30 UTC+8)
Consensus is headline CPI +0.4% month over month and about 3.4% year over year; core CPI about +0.2% month over month and possibly easing slightly to 2.4% year over year. Energy and travel costs are the upside risks. A hot print would further lock in next week’s hike odds from about 58%–71% and pressure QQQ, SPY and richly valued tech. PPI already showed wholesale inflation near 5.4% year over year, and a sharp month-over-month rise in diesel has reinforced pass-through concerns.
Watchlist: SPY, QQQ, IWM, TLT
Spot: SPY / QQQ / IWM / TLT
Futures: SPY / QQQ / IWM
