ZetaChain announced that as it transforms into an AI-oriented private memory layer, it will gradually shut down the old cross-chain infrastructure and focus on new directions such as Anuma, user-owned memory, identity, permissions, payments, and agency.

According to the plan, ZetaChain has closed platform recharges as of June 1, 2026, and opened the final withdrawal window. Previously, on April 27, ZetaChain was attacked by exploiting a vulnerability in the cross-chain messaging system, resulting in the theft of $333,868 from three internal team wallets.
