14.7 Million AI Payments on XRP Network Worth €41,000

Over 14.7 million automated payments have been processed via the XRP Ledger, with a total value of approximately €41,000. This amounts to an average of €0.0027 per payment. The XRPL AI Hub dashboard from developer t54 displays these payments, which were executed using XRP and the stablecoin RLUSD. Despite the high number of payments, this says little about the economic significance or the number of real customers. Research into RLUSD by Bitquery revealed that 99.6% of 7.82 million payments originated from a group of 110 wallets to three collection addresses, with most payments worth about a tenth of a cent. This suggests a possible influence of bots on the transaction figures. The overlap between the dashboard data and the RLUSD research highlights that automated networks can generate millions of transactions, but for real growth, the paid value, the number of independent users, and repeated use by different services are crucial.
