The DAO governance platform Tally announces the cessation of operations
DAO infrastructure provider Tally announced its closure after six years of operation. Its CEO, Dennison Bertram, stated that the strict regulatory environment under U.S. SEC Chairman Gary Gensler during the Biden administration had previously pushed projects to adopt decentralized governance through DAOs to reduce legal risks. However, the current regulatory environment has become more lenient, making DAO governance no longer a necessary option, thus weakening the demand for governance tools.
